How does fixed-price work? What if the scope changes?
After the discovery phase, we provide a detailed fixed-price proposal. If you need to add features or change scope during the project, we provide a written change order with the additional cost before any work begins. You always know exactly what you are paying and what you are getting.
What does the discovery phase cost?
Discovery is typically NZD $2K–$5K depending on project complexity, and takes 1–2 weeks. This phase produces a detailed architecture document, technology recommendations, wireframes, and a fixed-price proposal for the full project. If you proceed, the discovery cost is credited against your project total.
Can I cancel my monthly retainer at any time?
Yes. All monthly retainers require 30 days written notice to cancel. There are no lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees, and no penalties. You own all the code and data we produce — it is yours regardless of whether you continue working with us.
Do you charge GST?
All prices listed are exclusive of GST (15%). GST is added to all invoices for New Zealand clients. Overseas clients may be zero-rated depending on the services provided.
What payment terms do you offer?
For fixed-price projects: 30% upfront, 30% at midpoint milestone, 40% on completion. For monthly retainers: invoiced at the start of each month, due within 14 days. We accept bank transfer and credit card.
Is the AI Readiness Assessment really free?
Yes, completely free. It is a genuine 30-minute consultation where we assess your business processes and identify where AI and automation can have the biggest impact. You receive a written summary with recommendations. There is no sales pitch, no obligation, and no follow-up pressure.
What if I need something that does not fit these packages?
